If you want your wine and cheese party to be a success, there are a few basic rules you should follow. In doing so, your party is sure to be a most memorable taste experience that your guests are guaranteed to enjoy!
Amount per person To satisfy your guests while making sure nothing goes to waste, here’s a chart that will help you plan the right quantities for your party.

*French/baguette = 20 pieces Other breads = 48 pieces
Serving temperatures for wine To draw the best flavor from your wines, serve them at the following temperatures:
| | | | | White wines and rosés | | | | 8 to 12°C (chilled) | | | | | | Light red wines | | | | 11 to 14°C (slightly chilled) | | | | | | Dry red wines | | | | 16 to 18°C (room temperature) |

Serving temperatures for cheese Except for fresh cheeses that must be kept in the refrigerator until serving time, cheeses are at their best when served at room temperature. Take them out of the refrigerator about one hour before serving and cover them with a damp cloth or plastic film.
To serve bread Slice bread one half hour before serving and store the slices in closed paper bags to keep them fresh. Just before serving, arrange the slices in a basket. Make your bread selection carefully, your choice of bread is just important as all the rest.
Specify the name of your breads and cheeses As a guide for your guests and to provide some information on the featured products, write the name of each cheese and bread selection on a label and attach it to a toothpick that you can then insert into the various breads and cheeses.
