Cardamom Spiced Pear Crustini

Prep and Cook Time: 25 minutes


1 Maison Cousin TM Baguette, sliced into ¼ inch rounds

2 ½ cups Bartlett pears, peeled and chopped

3 tbsp. butter

3 tsp. brown sugar

3 tsp. ground cardamom

1 cup vanilla bean Greek yogurt

3 tbsp. almond slices, toasted and chopped

Maple syrup for drizzle


1. Pre-heat oven to 400°F. Slice baguette into ¼-inch rounds. Place on a baking sheet and toast for 5 minutes.

2. In a large sauté pan, over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar. Add pears and cardamom. Cook until pears are soft and slightly caramelized 15- 20 minutes.

3. Top each crostini with 1 tbsp. of cardamom pears. Top with a dollop of yogurt and sprinkle with almonds. Drizzle with maple syrup.
