1 Maison Cousin® Baguettine (day old)
1/4 cup strong espresso
1 cup (275grams) Mascarpone cheese room temperature
1 cup 35% Heavy Cream
1/3 cup icing sugar
2 tsp. maple extract
1/2 a Dark chocolate bar
- Cut crust off bread and cut into 1/4 inch cubes. Place in a small bowl and top with espresso. Allow the bread to absorb coffee.
- In a medium bowl, using a hand mixer; whip cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold in mascarpone cheese, icing sugar and maple extract until fully combined.
- To assemble Tiramisu:
- Divide 1/2 of the coffee bread pieces into each serving dish. Top each layer with 3 generous tablespoons of cream mixture. Dust with 1 tablespoon of chocolate curls. Continue to layer each dessert with the remaining bread, cream and chocolate curls.
* To make chocolate curls, use a cheese slicer. Gently pull slicer across the back of chocolate bar to create mini curls and crinkled chocolate pieces.
