Mushroom Toast with Roasted Garlic Spread

Prep and Cook Time: 20 minutes


4 slices of Maison Cousin TM French Bread

12 cloves roasted garlic

1 19 oz. can white beans

¼ cup olive oil, plus 2 tsp.

2 tbsp. lemon juice

Salt and pepper to taste

2 cups mixed wild mushrooms

2 tbsp. parsley


1. To a food processor, add garlic, beans, ¼ cup olive oil, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth and season with salt and pepper to taste. Set aside.

2. In a small fry pan, over medium high heat, add 2tsp. of olive oil and sauté mushrooms until tender 5-8 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

3. Toast bread slices. Top each toast with a generous tbsp. of spread. Divide and top each toast with mushrooms. Garnish with parsley and drizzle with olive oil.
