Ingredients:

Ingredients

1 Thick Slice of Maison Cousin MD Belgian Bread (2.5 inch)

125g pulled duck

1/2 cup Baluchon Bechamel (recipe below)

2 thich slices of Baluchon Cheese

Baluchon Bechamel

25 ml butter

25 ml flour

250 ml whole milk

50g grated Baluchon cheese

Nutmeg, a pinch (season to taste)

Directions: 

Pulled Duck

  1. Drizzle bread with olive oil and bake at 350°F for 10 minutes
  2. Begin building croquet-monsieur by adding ¼ cup of bechamel to bread, 1 slice of cheese, pulled duck, remaining ¼ cup of bechamel and top with remaining slice of cheese.
  3. Bake at 350°F for 10 minutes to warm all ingredients thoroughly then broil for a few minutes until top is golden brown and bubbling

Baluchon Bechamel

  1. In a small saucepot, melt butter on medium heat then add flour and stir until combined
  2. Add milk gradually while stirring. Add nutmeg and cook for 10-15 minutes
  3. Add grated cheese gradually while stirring, and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Let cool
